About Bob Hupka

There isn't a time in Bob's life, that he can remember, when he hasn't been in love with the organ and all of the magnificent sounds that it produces!

From waiting in line with his Mom and Dad at Radio City Music Hall in New York City to see the Christmas Pageant and watch the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ roll out of the wall, producing thunderous musical tones that would seemingly shake the building, to being thrilled by the soaring horizontal trumpets on the glorious Aeolian-Skinner Organ at Trinity Church, Copley Square in Boston on a crisp Easter morning, to being captivated by the lavishly rich sounds of the flute and string celestes on the Aeolian-Skinner Organ at The Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, Bob has been hooked on the organ all his life!

He started taking organ lessons when he was 8 years old, and played for his first church service when his feet could barely reach the pedals! And for almost all of his life since then, he has been on the bench nearly every Sunday playing organ or piano. So, it just seems natural that now, everyday, he works with churches to help them select or design the right instrument for their worship traditions.

Bob receives universal praise from his clients because of his impeccable integrity and the intense focus he brings to his work:

"I am writing this letter to thank you for the excellence and professionalism of your company in regard to our purchase of an Allegiant 778 three manual organ... Working with Bob Hupka was without question an absolute pleasure... Bob showed authentic concern for the needs of our church. He listened to our requests and recommended instruments that fit both the size of our sanctuary and our budget...

Once our decision was made to purchase an Allegiant 778, Bob located the perfect model. The oak console matches our sanctuary woodwork as though it were a custom build. Bob showed concern for our best interest when he arranged an upgrade on the sub cabinets, from the 7.5a’s to the SW18.0’s, because it seemed a better fit for our room. This was an excellent call as the organ has wonderful presence in the room, especially the 32’s which, as it should be, can be felt throughout the sanctuary... Important in the complicated process of a full sanctuary restoration, the delivery of the organ and its installation were made like clockwork. The guys from Tadlock were where they said they’d be when they said they’d be there, and they arrived with the tools and materials in hand to complete their task. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and the excellence of their work were most evident. And in all this, I say again, was an authentic, sincere concern for the best interest of our church.

A year later, we have settled into our newly renovated space and weekly enjoy the fruit of your labors. I would recommend the Rodgers Organ and Tadlock & Associates for your excellent product and for the quality and professionalism of your people."

"Our church has never settled for mediocrity! We have always strived for the best in every way; facilities, equipment, location, and leadership. These things are important as we realize that God expects our best.

We feel that worship is one of those vital parts to the life of a church and its offering to our Lord. Let me express to you our sincere appreciation for the professional manner in how Tadlock and Associates and sales representative, Bob Hupka, helped us in reaching that goal of meeting our need for a new organ. The Rodgers Trillium 927 organ you demonstrated in our sanctuary fit the bill for our current and future needs. We are delighted with the versatility and voicing that this instrument offers.

Thanks again for a great experience in helping us purchase this excellent instrument!"

"What a wonderful ambassador you are for Tadlock & Associates. The services you provided far exceeded that for which our contract indicated. The time and effort you spent assisting our organist and choir, both during rehearsals and during the Mass, allowed us to joyfully praise God through our music. We are proud to have a Rodgers Organ in our church..."

"Our committee cannot praise Bob enough for how efficient and painless he made the process of purchasing an organ for us. He was very accommodating in scheduling demonstrations and meetings to discuss our needs. When we decided to purchase the organ, his attention to our needs did not cease. He continued to come to personally supervise the installation and then returned several times to work with me in learning how to set up registrations on the new organ. When we had our dedication, he again was present to support us and make sure everything was as we wanted. Bob has become a personal friend of the committee members and our church.... He goes above and beyond what is expected from the person who sold us

"On behalf of the Lutheran Church of the Cross, we thank you for helping us select our wonderful new Rodgers Organ. The size and sound of the organ is a perfect fit for our church. This instrument is a wonderful addition to our worship service...we immediately recognized your professional attitude, as witnessed by your knowledge of the product and your patience in demonstrating the features. This is the second Rodgers Organ that we have purchased... we know that you and the organization are strongly committed to quality and service, should there be a need... Thank you for all that you have done to make this a pleasant experience."

"I should have sent this letter earlier, but a lot of my time has been spent exploring the capabilities of the beautiful Rodgers Organ that we now have in our sanctuary. I have relished all of that time. The organ is really a beautiful instrument that will wonderfully serve our church for many years to come. Bob Hupka's presentations to our committee were never negative about the competition, just positive about the value of Rodgers Organs. Thanks to Tadlock & Associates and Bob Hupka for making this a reality for us."

"Thank you for an outstanding job in every way!  Without your guidance, we could never have achieved the goal of having a new organ. The Rodgers Organ we chose is the perfect fit for Community Lutheran Church, and I know the congregation will enjoy the new organ more and more as the music program expands over the years. I am personally thrilled with the organ, and I truly believe that joy is expressed in my music. Thank you so very much for your hard work, patience and sense of humor..."

"The purpose of this letter is to tell you how much Christ Episcopal Church is appreciative of Bob Hupka and his gracious and supportive efforts in placing a magnificent Rodgers Organ in our new church. From day one of our relationship, Bob demonstrated a caring professionalism and knowledge that gave us the confidence to allow him to guide us in the selection of an instrument for our new space. We could not be more pleased. The organ has filled our space with beautiful music as our organist continues to explore this instrument's tremendous capabilities.

As if this were not enough, Bob regularly checks on us making sure the organ is performing in accordance with his representations and to see if we have any questions. He gave up his Memorial Day weekend to come and be with us at our opening service... just in case we had any problems.  We didn't... but it was comforting to have Bob there.

You should be very proud to have someone of Bob's character and expertise to represent your company."
